Gun Hill: It is located 3142 meters above sea level. It is as names as "Gun Hill" because in the British rule a gun is used to set here to shot in the air in a  mid day, so that by hearing this people can come to know the exact time and can set their watches accordingly. The hill is now connected by a rope way and also by a bridge that leads towards the Mall road. From the hill one can enjoy the panoramic beauty and view of the entire Mussoorie and especially in the evening you would find the lighted up city just like as a brilliant star-studded night sky. 
 
Surkanda Devi temple: Surkanda Devi temple is located near the village Kaddukhal on mountain at 3030 mts above the sea level, Ganga Dussehra fair held every year in the month of May June, entertains thousands people.  
 
Sir George Everest's House: It is just 2 km away from the main library of the city. It was the residential home of Sir George Everest, the first Surveyor General of India. It is just based on his name that the highest peak of the world is named. Though it had been broken but the ruins of the house are of great historical importance. 
 
Municipal Garden: In Mussoorie, The Municipal Garden is perfect as a picnic spot. The place has a cool lake and beautiful flowery garden. One can enjoy the whole day of the picnic by boating in the lake, which is surrounded by pine trees, and Deodar trees all round.
The garden has a cafeteria with a park specially made for the children. To reach there one can either take a hand pulled rickshaw, a private car or even a pony. 
 
Lal Tibba: Lal Tibba is the highest point in the Mussoorie and gives excellent landscape view, it is located in Landour, one can clearly see the snowy Himalayan peaks like Kedarnath, Badrinath. 
 
Camel's Back Road - The road runs for a 3 kms at a stretch. The road starts from Kulri bazaar located near the Rink hall just the started point and ending up to the Library Bazar. Tourists have the opportunity to enjoy a nice horse riding or simple walking around the hill along the road. 
Nag Devta Temple:  It is located on the Cart Mackenzie Road, Nag Devta is the ancient temple and a must visit on the tour to Mussoorie.
